Since 2002. Come join us for great food, great music, and great fun on Friday (5:30 pm- 9:30 pm) and Saturday(11:00 am – 9:30 pm), in Lincoln Park in downtown Waterloo. There will be the following events: Event open to the public. BBQ and other great non-BBQ eats for sale Friday night and all day Saturday. On Friday evening 5:30 to 9:00 pm, Jeff Banks Band. Three blues bands will perform on Saturday 11:00-1:00pm, Ron Lombard and 2:00-5:30pm, Joanna Connor. Headlining the free blues lineup on Saturday evening at 6:30 is Duke Robillard. There will be an ice carving demo at 1:00 and celebrity rib eating contest at 5:30 pm on Saturday in front of the stage. Bring the kids for Kids Korner Friday 5:30 to 9:00 pm and Saturday Noon to 4:00 pm. Children ages 6 to 15 can also compete in a Kids-Q barbecue contest on Friday at 5:30 pm. There will also be prizes and awards totaling $10,000 in CASH and PLAQUES! Prizes and Awards: Barbeque Championship Prizes: Grand Champion – $2,000, ribbon and plaque Reserve Grand Champion – $1,000, ribbon and plaque Honorable Mention Champion – $500, ribbon and plaque.
